(she/they) queer, polyamorous latina artist who digs the details. i consider myself an intimate artist which means i crave closeness and fostering connections with the people i meet and create with. As cliché as it sounds, I want to make art that makes people feel something while capturing the photographed as they wish to be memorialized. My love of photography has a foundation of self-portraiture and for almost ten years i can’t think of a time i don’t have pictures of myself.

my love of documentation comes from my mothers dedication to the repository of our childhood. her bins of photos range from our birth through graduating varying levels of school. she is methodical in how she cares for the pictures and knows where to find my fourth grade school photo. i find this to be an act of love and care for ones life to be remembered.

My goal as an artist is to document and archive people; to create a record of goodness. I want people to feel seen and I hope the work i create allows people to feel understood, connected, & joyous amongst all the the feelings that inhabit us.

when i’m not with people, i love places and flowers and things :)
