open mic:
sign-up for the open-mic anytime from 6pm to 6:50pm during the market hour. you have three minutes on stage to read, sing, giggle whatever you like as long as it’s not bullying, bigotry or bullshit. you will be removed by a gaggle of gays.
writing workshop:
join us on the other side of town for a two hour poetry workshop taught by margarita herself :) we can accommodate 20 people so please register here.

parking and transit to the event on the 13th:
parking is extremely limited as Lakeview loves capitalism. Paid parking is available on Halsted. The 8 bus on Halsted drops you off a moments walk via the stop on George. The 76 on Diversey drops you off at Halsted with a five minute walk. The 88 on Belmont drops you off at Halsted with a few minutes walk. The Brown Line train drops off at Diversey with an eight minute walk and at Wellington with a five minute walk.

the space:
our event space is my friend’s home, it is being gifted to me for the night so i can share my art with you!
accessibility wise: there is a porch with steps and one flight of stairs to climb into the space with no lift or elevator. if you need help getting up the stairs or extra time to ascend please email margo before hand so we can find a way to assist you safely in and out.
there will be two bathrooms available.
vaping or smoking of any kind (eye brows eye brows) is to be done outside in the yard or in the alley that touches the house. iykyk you better roll one for margo.
respectfully: be mindful moving in and out of this space, most importantly inside. this is my friends home! i assume full responsibility for it, treat it like you would me and mine.
